The Del Mar Fairgrounds is located 20 miles north of downtown San Diego, at 2260 Jimmy Durante Blvd. in the city of Del Mar, California.

From Interstate 5:

Exit at Via De La Valle, turn west (right turn going south on I-5; left turn going north).

Take Via De La Valle west to Jimmy Durante Boulevard (about one-tenth of a mile) and turn left.

The entrance to the Fairgrounds and the Holiday of Lights will be on your right.

Important note if you are taking the Holiday Hayride on Nov. 25: Please enter the Fairgrounds through the Solana Gate, which is on the south side of Via de la Valle between Jimmy Durante Blvd and the Coast Highway. If you are touring Holiday of Lights in your own car, enter through the Main Parking Lot as instructed above.
